Alessandria della Rocca · since 1911
Our story
100% Sicilian extra virgin olive oil, rooted in family tradition since 1911.
More than a century on the same land
Our great-grandmother buys a plot of land with olive trees next to her village, Alessandria della Rocca, in southern Sicily.
Our grandfather plants 50 olive trees – the first chapter of the grove as we know it.
We produce our very first litres of olive oil from these trees.
We take over the entire production: our own equipment, organic certification process, and 300 newly planted trees. Today: nearly 1,000 olive trees.

Made by a family, for your table
At Bongiovanni Olio, we believe the best olive oil is crafted not only through tradition, but through family. Together – father, mother and sons – we oversee every step, from caring for our trees to bottling each drop, so that you can trust where your oil comes from.

Who we are
I spent all my childhood summers in the Sicilian countryside. Today, I cherish returning regularly and sharing this endeavour with my wife and my two sons.
Dorothée & Pietro
I am passionate about our family endeavour, which brings the work of many generations to your table.
Jérémie
What I love most is witnessing the journey of our olives, grown in a remote corner of Sicily, all the way to tables in Switzerland.

A tribute to our land
We named ourselves Olio della Rocca in tribute to the land that shapes our trees and to the village of Alessandria della Rocca, where our roots run deep.
Our mission is simple: honour tradition and excellence, with an oil that reflects the purity of the land and the care of the people who work it.
