OUR STORY
100% Pure Sicilian Extra Virgin Olive Oil – Rooted in Family Tradition Since 1911
From Sicily to Your Table
Our Mission
So we name ourselves olio della rocca, paying homage to days where cacao was truly appreciated and held in high regard in the rituals and ceremonies of the Mayans, Aztecs and Olmecs.
We wanted to make a change and have an impact, because we believed (and still believe) everyone deserves to have great quality chocolate!
Our Story
Our grand-grandmother purchased a plot of land with olive trees next to her village, Alessandria della rocca, in southern Sicily in 1911.
In 2014, we produced our first liters of olive oil from these trees.
In 2023, we took a significant step forward by deciding to manage the entire production process ourselves. We invested in the necessary equipment, including a tractor and various tools to work the ground and care for the trees. We also started the process of becoming certified for organic production, promoting biodiversity on our land.
We have also planted 300 new trees to diversify our production and expand our offerings in the future.
Our commitment to quality and sustainability drives us as we continue to honor our family’s legacy and bring a taste of Sicily to your table.

Quality First
We name ourselves Olio della Rocca, a tribute to the land that shapes our olive trees and to the village of Alessandria della Rocca, where our roots run deep.
Grown on mineral-rich soils of the island, our olives thrive in a terroir that imparts a unique depth of flavor and superior quality. This exceptional environment allows us to produce a premium extra virgin olive oil, rich in character and authenticity.
Our mission is simple: to honor tradition and excellence, bringing you an olive oil that reflects the purity of the land, the dedication of our farmers, and the timeless heritage of Sicilian craftsmanship. Because we believe that everyone deserves the taste of true, high-quality olive oil.
Father & Sons
At Bongiovanni olio llc, we believe that the best olive oil is made not just with tradition but in family. This journey began with our shared dream to bring authentic, high-quality olive oil from our family’s trees to your table. Together—father, sons, and brothers—we handle each step of the process, from caring for our olive trees to bottling every drop and making sure you trust us as your privileged source for your olive oil.

Mathieu
What I love most about our product is witnessing the journey of our olives, grown in a remote corner of Sicily, as they make their way to tables in Switzerland.
